Timesheets

TIMESHEETS AND PAYROLL

  • Your supervisor will provide Phinfo training regarding completion of electronic timesheets.
  • Time entered onto timesheets on Phinfo must reflect the actual time and hours worked, which may be more or less than the hours you were scheduled to work. For example, if the student is scheduled to work until 12:00 midnight, but does not leave until 12:15, the timesheet should reflect that and the Student Assistant will be paid for that time. If the Student Assistant is scheduled to work at 9:00 pm. and does not arrive until 9:15, the timesheet must also reflect that. Time worked is to be reported in no less than 15 minute increments, e.g., .25, .50, .75. Misrepresenting any time on the timesheets other than that actually worked is grounds for immediate dismissal.
  • The Student Assistant is responsible for filling in the Time In and Time Out for each period worked on a daily basis. The Student Assistant is also responsible for submitting to the supervisor their time for approval at the end of the pay period by electronically signing the timesheet.
  • Paychecks are issued every two weeks on the Friday following the Monday that starts the new pay period. Student Assistants can pick up their paychecks at the Payroll Office in Grewen Hall Room 209F, or can arrange through the Payroll Office for direct deposit service.
