Post Cambrian Explosion Art Show 2012

Titled “Post Cambrian Explosion,” the exhibit explores the artist’s interest in mathematics, written language, and the diversity of forms in nature. This installation uses sycamore, hemlock, paper and copper to create a space that is transformative. It weaves elements of animal synchronicity and swarming with the deconstruction of the artist’s poetry books.

The artist will talk about his work at 4 p.m. on Friday, November 16, in the Bernat Special Events Room, located in the library. Following his talk, an opening reception will take place in the Wilson Art Gallery until 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call (315) 445-4153.
