E-mail notifications are sent as soon as material arrives. This includes ILL as well as Connect NY materials.
As the vast majority of articles are now delivered electronically, notification of article arrival will include delivery of the article itself in PDF format.
We prefer to use campus e-mail addresses for notification and delivery of materials. However, if you have provided an alternate email address through your WebZap request profile we will honor that.
Pick Up and Delivery of ILL Material
Articles are delivered as PDF documents via e-mail. If you have need of delivery via any other means, please note this on your request form.
Books and other materials are shelved behind the Library Services Desk in Falcone Library for pick up.
In the case of Connect NY books, they will be checked out to the borrower at the time of pick up.
ILL materials will not be checked out directly to the borrower but you will be held responsible for them nonetheless. Each item will have a slip on the cover that includes the due date. Due dates for ILL material can vary form 3 to 6 weeks or more depending on the lender. It is incumbent on the borrower to keep track of these dates to avoid being charged for the items replacement costs.
Material borrowed through ILL and Connect NY should be returned to the Library Services Desk.
