Le Moyne Faculty Exhibit

Come view the work of Le Moyne professors Barry Darling, Jen Gandee, and David Moore in the annual Le Moyne College Faculty Art Show, running in the Wilson Art Gallery at Falcone Library from December 3, 2018 – February 1, 2019. Barry Darling, Adjunct Assistant Professor
Professor Barry Lee Darling received his bachelor's degree from Northeast Louisiana State University, served in the United States Marine Corps for four years, then received a Master's degree from Louisiana University. His prior teaching experience includes 28 years as director of the Department of Art at Henninger High School in Syracuse, N.Y. His solo exhibitions range from Syracuse to Santa Fe, NM. His primary medium is painting.
Jennifer Gandee, Director of Visual Arts & Adjunct Assistant Professor
Jennifer Gandee graduated in 1996 from West Virginia University with a BFA in Ceramics and received a MFA in Material Studies from Syracuse University in 2008. Her ceramic artwork is inspired by historical art pieces and folk art traditions and has been shown at many venues, including the Everson Museum of Art, the Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center, and the Icheon World Ceramic Center in South Korea. In addition to her teaching at Le Moyne, she owns the Gandee Gallery in Fabius, NY which features fine art and hand crafted objects from regionally and nationally recognized artists, with a special emphasis on ceramics.
David Moore, Adjunct Assistant Professor
David G. Moore received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Syracuse University, completing a Master of Fine Arts degree in photography in 1985. He has published two books of photographs: False Idols in 1993 and Ephemeral Beginnings in 2000. Both books are in museum collections across the nation. He has been an exhibiting artist for the past 20 years.
