Textbook information for faculty
Is the textbook(s) for my course available on textbook reserve?
- Search the library's catalog by title and/or author or through the textbook reserve page.
I don't see the textbook(s) for my course available on reserve. How do I request copy be purchased and placed on reserve?
- Submit a textbook purchase suggestion form
What if I also want my textbook on course reserve and how is this different than textbook reserves?
- Course reserves are used when a faculty member wants library materials (not just textbooks) placed on reserve for their specific course. This is different from textbook reserves where the textbooks are not linked directly to a specific course. If faculty would also like the textbook for their course placed on course reserves, in addition to textbook reserves, they can submit a book reserve request form.
Who do I go to with questions?
- Your subject librarian
Before you make your textbook selections for a course, we encourage faculty to check our e-book holdings to see if we currently have a text, that is already availability to students at no cost to them, that would be suitable for your course.
