Reserves

Search Course Reserves

Course reserves are materials selected by your instructor and placed on hold at the Library Services Desk or as an online file. Search below for Course reserves by course name/number or professor. See Student Course Reserve Guidelines or Faculty Course Reserve Guidelines for further information.

How to Retrieve Reserves

Electronic reserves:

  • Electronic reserves and streaming media links can be retrieved though the Reserves page by searching by the course name/number or professor, selecting the appropriate course and then clicking on the reading
  • A valid Le Moyne username and password are necessary to view the materials

Book and media reserves, including Textbook Reserves:

  • Book and media titles can be searched in the library catalog
  • Print Reserves, CDs and DVDs/Blu-Rays are located behind the Library Services Desk
  • Textbooks on Reserve are listed here
  • Students will need their Le Moyne ID card in order to check out materials

Loan Periods

Books

  • Books are loaned out for 2 hours, in library use only

Media materials

  • Media materials, like video recordings and anatomy models, are loaned out for 3 hours, in library use only
  • There are two rooms, Individual Study Room 143 and Group Study Room 176, located on the first floor of the library that are equipped with TVs and DVD players and can be reserved on the Reserve A Room page.

Overnight

  • Reserve items can be loaned out overnight or for 5 days, if requested by the professor

Renewals

Renewals

  • Books can be renewed once, for another 2 hour period
  • Media materials cannot be renewed
