Inserting a Hanging Indent
To create a hanging indent in Microsoft Word, highlight the text (the entire list of references/citations) and do the following:
On the "Home" tab, in the “Paragraph” section, select the arrow in the lower right hand corner to open the dialog box. Under “Indentation”, choose "Hanging" in the "Special" drop-down menu.
