Printing in the Library

Who Can Print?

In order to print, you must:

  • Be a current member of the Le Moyne community (an enrolled student or employed faculty or staff member).
  • Have an active Le Moyne College account with a username and password.
  • Be logged into a campus computer or have access to Papercut using the College's wireless network.
  • Have sufficient funds on your print quota to cover the cost of what you want to print. See details below.

Commitment to Green Printing

Le Moyne College is committed to green technology and has established a print conservation program. Please reduce your printing footprint as much as possible. When you must print, please print double-sided (duplex).

Print Quota: Black and White Printing

  • Black and white printing costs 5¢ per page.
  • Students are allotted $5.00 (equivalent to 100 black and white pages) per 3 credit hour Le Moyne course you are enrolled in. For example, 5 classes = $25.00 = 500 pages.
  • You can check how much money you have left on your free print quota by logging onto papercut.lemoyne.edu with your Le Moyne username and password. Note: you must be on-campus, to access Papercut.
  • Once you exhaust your free print quota for the semester, you will need to pay for printing using your Dolphin Dollars eAccount.
  • Read the "Adding Funds to Your Print Account" in IT's help document.

Print Quota: Color Printing

  • Color printing costs 15¢ per page.
  • Color printing is not charged against your free print quota. You have to add money to your Dolphin Dollars eAccount to pay for color printing.
  • Read the "Adding Funds to Your Print Account" in IT's help document.
