Bob Gates : Encounters With(in) Images

Le Moyne College will host an exhibit of the work of award-winning photographer Bob Gates. Gates studied photography at the University of Iowa School of Art while completing his doctorate in English, after which he joined the English department at Syracuse University. Since then his photographs have won prizes in regional and national contests; have appeared in group, individual and juried exhibitions; and have been published internationally in such magazines as National Geographic Traveler, PhotoLife and MaVista.
An opening reception will be held in the Wilson Art Gallery on Friday, Jan. 30, from 4–6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call (315) 445-4323.
