Mendeley Applications
There are Mendeley applications for desktop (Windows, Macintosh, and Linux) and for tablets (iOS and Android).
- The desktop applications replicate the experience of the web version of Mendeley and also integrates via the Mendeley Citation Plugin for Word or LibreOffice to allow you to cite and format references once you have begun the writing process.
- The iOS and Android tablet apps have an interface optimized for reviewing references and, if you have uploaded a PDF to a citation, for reading articles on the go.
Mendeley Desktop Application
Mendeley Desktop is a reference manager that allows you manage, read, share, annotate and cite your research papers. It is not required until you begin writing your paper. At that point, it becomes an invaluable tool to format citations and create bibliographies in your writing.
- Install on campus workstations: Mendeley for Windows can be installed from Le Moyne College AJ App Store. Mendeley for Macintosh can be installed directly on campus workstations.
- Install on personal computers: Download Mendeley Desktop for Windows, Macintosh, and Linux computers.
