Academic Technology

Location:

  • Instructional design & course development process implementation
  • Learning management system (Canvas)
  • Media development and lecture capture system (Storyline, Echo 360)
  • Synchronous teaching tools (Zoom)
  • Academic integrity applications (TurnItIn, Respondus Lockdown Browser and Monitor)
  • Teaching workshops & individual coaching
  • Various technology applications on campus used for assessment, curriculum, and instruction (Watermark Aqua, ePortfolio, etc).

QRC

Location:

First floor of the library, past the atrium

Services Offered:

  • Clinics
    • Pop in times that trained peer tutors are available to support students enrolled in a clinic supported course
    • The clinic schedule is available in the QRC and on the QRC webpage
    • Clinics do not meet on days when the College is closed (i.e. holidays and snow days)
  • Textbooks
    • Have textbooks available for student usage for every clinic supported class
    • Students must stay in the QRC when using one of their textbooks
  • Computers/ laptops/ printing
    • ​In addition to four desktop computers, the QRC has 12 laptops which are available for student use when their desk is staffed (Monday – Thursday 9am – 9pm, Friday 9am – 4pm, Sunday 3pm – 9pm)
    • The laptops must stay in the QRC
  • Keurig – bring your own K-Cup
  • Other support
