de Ropp Polish Art Collection

This website invites students of history, art, religion, and foreign affairs to explore the compelling history of Poland through this art collection on public display in the campus library since 1958.

Sunday, July 3 will be the final day for public viewing of this collection, before they are packed and shipped to Poland.

The future home of the seven paintings and four tapestries will be the new National History Museum in Warsaw which is expected to open late in the summer 2022.

Notes on your planned visit

The 7 paintings by the Brotherhood of St. Luke are on the second floor of the library along the periphery.

Two of the tapestries hang in the library's atrium on the first floor. Two are on the second floor along the main walkway.

No appointment is necessary to view them, as the library welcomes the public. Check library hours here.
