Welcome

In CORE 100, you attended a library class that was focused on Information Literacy.

If you remember, information literacy is defined as the ability to:

  • recognize a need for information,
  • identify, locate, and evaluate that information,
  • and effectively use that information for the issue or problem at hand.

In many of your courses, you will be practicing these important skills.

This guide is intended to help you when you receive a research assignment for any of your courses.

If you have questions or need help, please ask a librarian!
